Material Overview & Specifications
Inconel 625 (2.4856) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy bolstered by niobium additions. This unique metallurgical synergy produces exceptional matrix stiffening without requiring precipitation hardening, delivering outstanding tensile and yield strength from cryogenic temperatures up to 982°C (1800°F). It offers nearly complete immunity to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and extraordinary resistance to severe crevice and pitting corrosion in high-salinity seawater and aggressive sour gas environments.
Inconel 600 (UNS N06600 / 2.4816) is a standard high-nickel engineering material formulated for severe chemical service and high-temperature oxidation up to 1150°C (2100°F). It exhibits remarkable resistance to dry chlorine, hydrogen chloride gas, and pure caustic alkalis, making it indispensable for heat-treating retorts, thermocouple sheaths, and furnace muffle components.
All our Inconel materials conform strictly to ASTM B443 (Plates/Sheets), ASTM B444 (Seamless Pipes), and ASTM B446 (Round Bars). We maintain complete heat traceability from premium Western European and US mills, verified by EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates. Our Mumbai facility provides precision waterjet cutting, custom shearing, and third-party inspection coordination with TUV, DNV, and Bureau Veritas.
